On August 21, 2024, the educational materials and hygiene kits were distributed to school students in Rautahat  district as part of the "Support for Schools and Communities in Remote Areas Pandemic Prevention and Green Recovery Project." This joint project is a collaboration between UNDP, China Aid, World Education, and the China Foundation for Rural Development, with the cooperation of Global Cooperation for Development. The project aimed to support students in remote areas, especially in the wake of the pandemic, by providing them with essential resources. Over 9,887 students from community schools in Rautahat benefited from this effort, receiving the materials they need to continue their education and stay safe with hygiene kits.
